SOPROEN Expands Market Presence with Consultancy Services for Oil Sector
Quito, Ecuador – July 5, 2024 – In a strategic move to broaden its market reach, SOPROEN has signed an alliance with Entrix Latin America to assist oil and mining companies in developing comprehensive community relations plans. Entrix has signed a consultancy service contract with Grand Tierra Energy Inc. (GTE) to develop such a plan. GTE is an international energy company focused on oil and natural gas exploration and production in Ecuador and Colombia.
This consultancy project aims to enhance GTE’s relationship with communities residing within the company’s designated blocks in Ecuador. The initiative seeks to improve the various capitals these communities interact with: human, natural, financial, social, cultural, and physical. The objective is to create a comprehensive plan in which GTE will complement actions in favor of these communities undertaken by the central, provincial and municipal governments in the short and medium term. The Comprehensive Community Relations Plan to be carried out by GTE will foster a more robust and sustainable approach to community engagement and development.
This partnership signifies a significant milestone for SOPROEN, marking its foray into Ecuador’s oil sector. It underscores SOPROEN’s unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility and driving sustainable development within the communities it serves.
